Scaredy Cats TNR covers the cost of spay and neuter surgeries for the neighborhood cats we trap, provides essential vaccinations, supports and feeds feral cat colonies, supplies food and necessities for foster kittens, and offers medical care to sick or injured cats.
We rely entirely on donations to continue this lifesaving work and to reduce feral cat overpopulation in Carson City and surrounding counties. Every gift—no matter the size—makes a meaningful impact, and 100% of your donation goes directly to helping the cats.

Spay & Neuter Costs
Our cost is $35 per cat for spay or neuter, vaccination and ear tip.
We are granted 4 appointments per week.
$140 per week ~ Monthly cost $505 ~ Annual cost $7,280
Feral Colony Feeding
Feeding 1 colony for month costs $100 ~ 1 colony for 1 year $1,200
Food for held cats
$4 per day per cat ~ Average of 4 cats are held for 2 days each
$32 per week ~ Annual cost of $1,664 per year
Kitten Fostering
For the first 1-5 weeks kittens are on formula, they will eat about 2 lbs of formula at $55 per lb
From 5-9 weeks kittens will move to canned kitten food and kibble $175 Total to raise 1 litter of 4 kittens $285
